Well, we did it. In order to get the $800 rebate on the 3 LG appliances that meet their rebate requirements, we needed to buy them before Christmas. So the oven, dishwasher, and range top are ordered. In the end, the DirectBuy 'handing fee' (really their way of paying the bills) was only 2%, and the shipping was included in the purchase price.
We picked up the LG Model LCG3691ST 36" 5-Burner Cooktop, LG Model LWD3081ST 30" Double Oven, and the LG Model LDF7932ST Dishwasher for $4,600 out the door, then minus $800 for the rebate, for a grand total of $3,800.
Retail price for just the Double Oven is $3,400, so I think we did okay.
When they arrive, we'll either store them in our garage here at home, or get my brother Dean to store them in his pole barn on the mountain.
